Dream ✣ 25 ✣ Backdated to morning of May 4th

Warnings: ....Cute? Sparkles? Roses? Mostly cute. If you have an aversion to anything potentially cavity inducing, I suggest you look away now! Oh, and pretty much every character in Somarium may be found in here, especially if Tamaki has met or conversed with them at some point. So even though no one's really specifically named, feel free to assume they're there somewhere.
Dream Effects: Feelings of nervousness, a very strong sense of joy, and then ultimate elation will most likely occur. Some may even find themselves unable to stop from smiling. More sensitive ones may even shed a tear.

-----------------------------------
Light streamed through the beautiful ornate stained glass windows of the cathedral. Familiar faces filled the pews-both from Somarium and his own world. While most either had smiles or tears, a certain inspector was as stoic as ever. Even his family was there-his mother, father, and even his grandmother-all with smiling faces.

Dressed in a white tuxedo, Tamaki stood there waiting at the altar. To say that he was a "bundle of nerves" would have been an understatement. It was more like he was an ocean of nerves as he stared down toward those large doors at the back. Everyone had already processed out, and while they look excited and whispered to themselves, Tamaki could only hope that he wasn't sweating too profusely.

That was when he felt a hand on his shoulder, and he started before glancing back. Behind him, his best friend and best man, Kyouya Ootori, only looked at him with a bit of a quirked brow before a smile appeared. It was enough to give the blond a moment to breathe and return the smile.

Just in time, too. In that very next second, the organ started to play the bridal processional. As everyone stood to turn around, Tamaki's breath caught in his throat. Even though she was still far away, he could still see how beautiful she was. The girl that had opened his eyes and changed his life. The girl he was about to marry.

Haruhi Fujioka.

As she walked arm in arm with her father, Ranka, memories of their past flowed through his mind. That fateful day in the music room. The day he discovered she was actually a girl and when she joined the Host Club. When he held her while at the beach house and first discovered her fear of thunder. All those times when she called him an idiot whenever he dragged her into one of his many crazy escapades with the Host Club.

When she first arrived into Somarium. All those awkward moments. When he first confessed his feelings during that Autumn Festival. When they... Whatever memory it was, it made him turn a brilliant shade of red for a brief moment. It had seemed out of place with the other memories, but fortunately by then, Haruhi had reached him. Her father was giving Tamaki a bit of a look, to which the blond only gave a nervous smile. Although he had gotten the approval, he knew Ranka would still be protective of his daughter and look at him as the man who stole her away.

But as Ranka handed Haruhi to him, the older man leaned a little closer to the blond and whispered, "Take good care of her," before stepping back with a smile.

Tamaki blinked before returning it, nodding. He would-he would be sure of it.

Soon they were holding hands as the ceremony continued, but he hardly heard a word of it. All he could do was look down at Haruhi's beautiful face with such tender love that at times he could feel his eyes sting from the tears that formed every so often. He had always been an emotional young man-and he always would be-and this was certainly no different. But he somehow managed to keep himself composed, even during the exchanging of the vows and the rings.

And when they kissed, it was if the world around them had disappeared. It wasn't the first time, nor would it be the last; but this was one kiss he would always treasure. For this kiss meant that they were now together 'til do they part. As man and woman; husband and wife.

Hearing the chorus of cheers and whistles from behind, the now newlyweds turned with flushed faces and bright smiles. Unable to contain his own joy, he spun Haruhi back around before lifting her up. Of course she gave a yell of startled surprise. But she, too, found herself laughing as Tamaki held her close, spinning in a small circle before properly holding her in his arms. Like that, he leaned up to her ear and whispered:

I love you, Haruhi.

I love you, too, Tamaki.

[for a brief moment, the camera catches Tamaki still asleep, a rather happy, boyish look on his face. he was hugging his pillow rather close, too, and was murmuring something-mostly sleep nonsense. perhaps something about a honeymoon somewhere.

he was still completely blissfully unaware that this was not his bed, let alone his own house. and what he was going to have to deal with once he woke up. but for now he was still happily dozing away.]

[ooc: uh, the first couple of people will probably get the sleepy replies, and then it's going to be random chance on whether he's confused, freaked out, or relatively calm at first (but later respondents will probably have "calmer" replies at first)]
