what a difference 10 minutes huffing and puffing can make

I actually bothered to spend 10 minutes on Neil's home gym last nite and found, much to my own regret that I have the weakest abs in the western world and I have now woken up feeling immeasurably tired and I have swimming tonight! I would cancel but I've come to the point where I know that if I don't make a conscious effort to improve my health and fitness now, I'm going to hit 25 and I'm never going to improve. I'll just hit 30 with a flabby ass and a tyre round my middle. But if I do something now, I could actually reach 30 looking more attractive, not less.
I am looking forward to swimming really. It's one of those few times where I feel (but definitely don't look) graceful. Let's just hope the local pool isn't a filthy den of iniquity as I regretfully believe it to be at present.
