It's been a while since I've posted. Mostly because RL has just been so hectic and now I'm not even sure where to start. First thing is first: VEGAS.
So, me, Madz, Em, Christina, and Maria and company jetted off to Vegas this past Tuesday. We got there at 6 am, in time to crash, and revived around one. Wherein we proceeded to the Wynn buffet and stayed from lunch till dinner munching. It was wonderful, although the consensus seems to be that Bellagio has better food. During said meal, it was suggested to me that I pour milk down my mosquito ridden arm because the bacteria apparently kept the swelling down. With little sense as to propriety, I immediately ordered a glass of milk and proceeded to the bathroom to pour the milk down my arm. One lady gave me the most horrified look as I tipped the cup and let the milk flow over my skin.
"What? Have you not seen a girl go to the bathroom with a glass of milk and pour it over her arm?" Okay, apparently not. But still.
Anyways, after Buffet, the girls and I spent no less than three; count them, THREE point five hours getting ready to go out for the evening. I wasn't sure that was even possible until that night. Incidentally, I discovered that there is a body blending mousse by Mac that I simply must get.
After getting ready, we knocked back a couple of shots and headed off to a strip show. The boys let me tell you, were amazing athletes. It was all baby oil and glistening abs, and broad, expansive chests. At one point I got taken up on stage and given a lap dance. I was in heaven, and after that little demonstration of hotness *I* smelled like baby oil. One strip show, and four clubs later, I ended up back in the hotel where I promptly fell asleep exhausted.
Friday morning I got to see NINA! It was a lovely and starbucks filled visit, wherein I called her on the way, directionally challenged and completely lost. Ended up in a Carl's Jr. asking directions and being told to get on the freeway. I was rather miffed when getting off the freeway, I realized the near proximity of the Starbucks vs. the amount that I had driven.
Arrived at the Starbucks sadly late, but was able to get Nina to let me buy her tea finally...which btw, Nina, sorry about the bounciness. *G* But back to the story. Nina regaled me with hilarious stories about work people and amazingly dense team workers. (I will never ever have to complain about work people ever again.) There was extensive conversation about hair gel, and how boys seem to be far more into the prettiness that the girls nowadays. And it was finally concluded when Nina had to go off to work.
I got gas later and won three bucks off of a quarter *I guess good luck runs both ways Nina :D* and headed back to LA for my lil cuz’s graduation.
So that was my weekend, how was yours?
