Object Pascal
well i was bored last night, and with the release of Irrlicht 0.8 and it failing to work correctly with delphi, then the no show from the gamebench beta i've decided to stop waiting about and go with delphi and opengl scene.
So there i went and registered at the Pascal Game Dev site :) and seeked to see if it had an irc chatroom :) woot it did on freenode #pgd. So off to the chatroom i went to meet the folk. room isnt crowded but the active folk greeted me warmly which was a nice start and before an hour had passed we were talking like we'd know each other for months. The the subject of FPC and Delphi and the incompatabilities came up with me adding some much needed ranting to the convo :) 30 mins later and between the three of us we had decide to start a crusade on bring in the ISO standard for object pascal back out of the draft mode and into some sort of implementation.
So if your a pascal fan, and really want to see a ISO standard for the language then add your support even if its only a vote to http://www.pgd.netstarweb.com/viewtopic.php?p=11852#11852
Its not looking good in out favour atm but things may change lol :D
