Back to work
Well its just past 12, so its officially Monday, and its the Monday that the last of my Christmas clients go back to work, woot so from when ii wake tomorrow ill probably be snowballing it to finish up those contracts, Found a company to produce my leaflets and business cards etc. had a talk with them and convinced a nice discount outta em :D now ii just either need to design a nice flyer/leaflet in full colour or ask someone to design one for me. Picked a new web host for a dedicated server for the company, waiting on the funds clearing for that.. So its all going pretty well so far, got some other contracts lined up
Only a few things left to do which should've been done before ii started trading at the start of the month, but they aint major urgent things just daft things ii want to do basically :)
On a personal front i'm still messing about with my idea's for a 3d platform game and ive really been giving my Character some thought and tried again to digitize my pencil artwork... lets just say those png's are deleted lol. But the graphics tablet is easier to use if your tracing an image with it :D though the pressure sensitivity can be awkward at times but im sure ill suss it out eventually.
Back to the company front though, been talking to a close friend (One of the ones to actually get a degree in software design) and he's intresting in working for me. Its hard to tell a friend that they don't know enough about programming to work for you :) but on the bright side i sent him away with some mock concept doc's ii had sitting about and told him to go write those programs and we'll talk again in a few months time. Its doubtful I'll ever give him an opportunity as one rules ii decided before ii even decided to actually setup the business was that ii would never employ a friend. and really ii don't need any employee's atm as me working alone does the job fine. who knows though in the future ii may decide to expand and have room for someone else, though im still reluctant to employ any "Degree" educated people as most of my friends have degree's and ii know that mosta them have the talent of a stick (Says Specis with no qualifications in the Computing sector) tis a bridge ii wont think about seriously till ii have to cross it :)
Anyway its taken me close to an hour to type this small entry so ii think ill end it there and go zombie myself in front of the TV and crashout :D
