What can I say?
Holy shit. It's been forever since I've updated. Though I've been pretty busy with working and life. I'm jobless now though, so I guess now is a better time than ever to sit here and update my journal. The past three and a half weeks were spent in the lovely city of Houston, Texas. Ok, well, most of it. About 6 days were devoted to traveling to Colorado. I must say, it's dry as all FUCK there, but Littleton was a great place to be.
We filmed a few things for a documentary on our roadtrip, but I haven't even touched the footage for editing. It's gonna be one of those documentaries where it's in my POV. Also, when we got back to Texas we started on a film, another Silent Darkness to add to the series. I was thinking about doing a prestory that is about the main villain, on how he used to be on the other side of things..an Agent like the good guy in the other part of the series. Of course I'd have to show a change..something really bad..something that would make him want to just kill everyone. (Note: All of this is fictional, so don't freak out. It's just a story.)
Ha. I had to put that in there just incase. Anyway, I've also been more involved with my music. My friend Jeff and I have been practicing more and getting back into the old band. It seems like now that we kind of know what we want, the sound of the guitars, and vocals, it's easier to come up with original music. Unlike before, all we ever did were a bunch of covers that anyone could play. Of course we're still gonna do some covers, but we're also doing an equal amount on our originality. Covers are good for inspiration, and good to play for the fans (if we ever get any.)
I'm glad to be home again though. The first few days were so weird..after being gone I felt..out of place. But it's fine again now. I hope to get a new job...or just sit here and update more on things to come in my life. Welcome home, self.
