20th Anniversary Bash!

[The lobby looks awfully lively today. Streamers and ribbons drape down from the ceiling, there's confetti flying through the air! Several glowing arrows point down the hall, and there's a distinct scent of chili dogs and cake. Various pictures of Sonic and his friends line the walls in addition to signs leading the way

[Just gonna be over here, snarfing down twelve chili dogs. Yeah, he's feeling pretty hardcore.]

[Sonic's seen the chili dogs near by and has calmly snatched one up - completely unaware that he's in a new zone just yet - and stuffs it into his mouth. Mid-way, black eyes survey the scene, ears flick as this starts up.]

Huh? [Though, the word comes out jumbled due to a half eaten hot dog.]

[Then he just instantly freezes on his twin, eyes locked on the other hedgehog. Same eyes and quills and everything, he's suspicious of this being a birthday trap now.]

[He makes no movements, just studies his clone. This is mondo weird...]

[Was that---

He has to do a double take before it all sinks in. Sure, Sonic's seen doubles around, but none of them looked this much like him.]

No way!

[And like his double, it comes out jumbled.]

Totally! It's not every day you get a huge party like this. Besides, it's got chili dogs! What more do ya need?

Not for too long if I stay around the table, my stomach is an endless hole when it comes to them.

Well, time in this place is mondo weird. I've been bumping into people from different dimensions, different times... it really boggles the hedgehog mind. Made me lose track of what day it was, too!

[As for that last bit, most definitely. Not that he minds all this flattery at all.]

True... most of people I meet are from what I'd call a not-so-distant past, I guess it's natural getting confused. Well, at least we know which day is today, now.
