My 2007 American Idol Picks!
This season of American Idol has been pretty comical, to say the least. 
Sanjaya Malakar even getting past the auditions was shocking to me, let alone making it to the final seven! Thankfully America wisened up on Tuesday night and didn't give him the votes. Wednesday we got to FINALLY say goodbye to that whacked out kid. Oh well, I guess votefortheworst.com LOST this one! HAHAHA! Sucks for you.
Anyway, I wanted to share my opinions and who I would like to win this season. Up until now, only two seasons has produced someone I wanted to actually win so we'll see what happens.
Season 1: Kelly Clarkson (YAY!)
Season 2: Clay Aiken (He is more famous than the dude who did win anyway!)
Season 3: Jennifer Hudson (She was ROBBED! But she is oh so famous now!)
Season 4: Constantine Maroulis or Carrie Underwood (At least she won it though!)
Season 5: Katharine McPhee or Chris Daughtry (Both were robbed, horribly!)
Season 6: Jordin Sparks
Above I listed the seasons and the people I WANTED TO WIN. Only two people actually did that I picked while the others were skipped over by America. When are people going to look at the figures? The runner ups have often been more famous than the actual Idol winner here. Does that not prove anything? I mean Clay should have won, Reuben hasn't been heard from since about a year after he won while Clay is on, what? His third or fourth album? Jennifer Hudson has been picked up for various things such as a huge movie hit Dreamgirls and won herself an academy award for it on top of a singing career. I am glad Carrie won because she is amazing but Constantine was outright embarassed when he was booted from Idol because he was up against the equivalent of Sanjaya and that Chicken Little kid (both from different seasons). He was robbed, PERIOD! Katharine and Chris were the bottom two the night Chris said goodbye, which was crap considering neither of them deserved to go home, especially to less talented people such as Taylor and Elliott. Especially since the new elimination song is by CHRIS DAUGHTRY! Hopefully this year we can pull it together and have the best person win. Get on the Sparks bandwagon! SHE IS KICK ASS! Melinda is awesome too and I would love to see them head it off in the finale. That would rock!
On another note, I am getting really tired of people saying that Lakisha is the most beautiful girl on the show this season. Are you freakin' blind? OBVIOUSLY! She is not even remotely attractive so to go as far as to say BEAUTIFUL is really stretching things a bit, don't ya think? I want her and Chris Richardson off of the show! I am sick of their faces and voices! UGH! VOMIT!!!!
