I realize that I really havn't posted since before Thanksgiving and shame of me for that. Anyways, Thanksgiving went well. I spent part of the day with my mom, her father, her siblings, and their spouses. The second half of the day, I went to my cousin's house to look at her new wedding gown and to spend some time together. I ended up leaving the day after Thanksgiving, though, because I had to work the following Saturday.
Thanksgiving meal was held at my aunt's house and it was a little awkward because I was the only "child" there; the closest person to my age was my mother! But, hey, I did get to sit at the "Big person table" for the first time ever and that was nice (although it wasn't quite a family Thanksgiving without the Strawberry Shortcake plates with minature matching silverware...j/k) After dinner, the ladies retreated to my aunt's basement where my mother decided to play with some of the toys. She and I then played dress-up, if you will, and well, you'll see what I mean....
Mom with her Dog, Diva. She was afraid that Diva would get too cold in the winter, she she bought her a coat... how nice...
This is my mother and I... sorry our faces are so huge!
This is a much better picture of us, I think. Don't we look alike?
This is what my mother and I dressed up like in my aunt's basement: Darth Vador and a Storm Trooper. Mom started it...
You see, Mom first saw this one and put it on...
But my aunt decided she should be Darth Vador instead... and
And then my Mom decided that she would pass the torch to me...okay, away from silliness now...
And this is my sweet Grandpa and myself on Thanksgiving Day. He's such a cute old man!
