Second update

So I was thinking about this story the other day and decided to share it with other people. When I was in college, I had a professor that everyone affectionately nicknamed "Duke". Now, Duke is a special person. He's about 60 years old, slightly cranky, but really a softy at heart. He would constantly complain and be sarcastic about situations in life, but at the same time would laugh at things and was always the first one to forgive you of mistakes.

One day, I was sitting in the college athletic training room and Duke had found a bottle of herbal suppliments in the room and said, "I hate these things! They promise to prevent everything from pregnancy to cancer!" Then, he turned to me, the only female in the room and said, "You know how they prevent pregnancy, don't you?" When I shook my head no, he proceeded to tell me. "You take one of the tablets, put it between your knees, and you hold it there! Works great as long as you don't let go of the pill!"

As soon as he said that, I burst out into laughter. I thought it was so funny, not only because he actually said that, but because I went to a conservative Christian college where people really didn't say things like that. But then again, Duke was never really one to follow the rules much so maybe that's why I liked him so much!
