It's like Christmas...
... only I am paying for my gifts instead of getting them for free! My new passport came in a couple of days ago and yesterday, I bought my plane tickets for my trip to Europe this summer! I am so excited! I never really thought I would ever get the chance to travel like this; even as I have been planning this trip, I kept thinking that it would never really come together but it is starting to come together nicely!
I am flying out of Chicago into London and spending a couple of days there and then I am off to Spain to visit Mildred for a couple more days! From there, I have no idea where exactly I am going in Europe, but I do know that I have to fly out of Dublin so I at least know I am going there, too.
The bad part about everything is that I am having to take a train to Chicago but they only run in the mornings. Well, my flight takes off in the morning, too, and so I am having to travel into Chicago a day early, hang out there for the day, spend the night in the airport and then do the same thing when I get back to Chicago. I wish I could just drive there, but I don't want to leave my car for two weeks and have to pay for the parking because it'll be over $200 to do that. Oh well, I wanted to see Chicago this summer anyways...
