(no subject)
So it's another sad day for me for many reasons, two of them being that I think I am getting sick and that I think I got a C on my test that I took today. I am more worried about the C because I need an A in the class (well, I need a B at the lowest, but I am really aiming for an A). I think the weather has something to do with my moods, too, because I always seem to be sad on days when it is really overcast and dreary, like today.
Anyways, because I am feeling like poo, I have decided to write about a couple of my most embarrassing moments so that I can have something laugh at. So here goes, my top three most embarrassing moments.
1.) Okay, so this happened a long time ago. When I was about 10 years old, I was playing with a flashlight in my living room and my dad asked me if he could see it. I gave it to him and he put it up to my ear and said, "Yup. Just what I thought. You shine it in one ear and you can see it out the other side." Well, not believing him, I decided to investigate this myself. I went into the bathroom with my flashlight, turned off the lights, and shone it in my ear to see if what my dad said was true. I came out of the bathroom and very proudly exclaimed, "Dad! You were wrong! You CAN'T see it out the other ear!" My parents still remind me of this.
2.) Okay, this one happened when I was in college. I was kind of seeing this guy who happened to be really quiet. He usually called me on the phone but never really had anything to say so I ended up babbling on for most of the conversation. Well, this one afternoon, he called me and was actually talking, I was shocked! I was on my cordless phone out in the dorm hallway and didn't want to interrupt him, so I took the phone into the bathroom with me to retrieve some item I left in there. As soon as I walked into the bathroom, someone flushed the toilet and there was silence on the other end of the phone. I immediately realized what happened and said "Uh, I don't know if you heard that or not, but that wasn't be!"
3.) My third most embarrassing moment in my life happened when I was in high school. I was in Toronto, Ontario with a bunch of Juniors and Seniors from my high school and we were all going to go see "Phantom of the Opera". Well, we all got dressed up and went out to a nicer restaurant before the play and I had to use the restroom. I was in the restroom and was drying my hands at the hand dryer when a nice woman came up to me and said, "I just wanted to let you know that I think you have a very pretty dress on but I don't think it's suppose to be tucked up into the back of your pantyhose like this!" It was a good thing she caught me because I was about to moon the entire restaurant full of my classmates! Not cool!
I have more embarrassing moments, but those are just three really funny ones in my life. Ya know, I just realized that all my embarrassing moments that I have posted have happened in the bathroom. Maybe I should just avoid the bathroom and start wearing adult diapers... or not... just kidding!
