Soon Enough
My transfer has gone through. My last day at walmart is December 24th. They're not giving me holiday pay I'm certain. They're assholes like that. But I'm free as of December 24th. Drew will be coming up here to get me on the 26th...he should be here around noon at the latest. That leaves us here until the afternoon of the 27th and then we'll be heading back to West Virginia to get the apartment set up. Get that set up and move all my stuff in. Then go get his crap, call the walmart down there to see what time they would like me to start at that day. Blah blah blah.
I'll finally be going home.
You know, weird as it sounds, home isn't a house, or an apartment, or a cardboard box on the side of the road. Home is (how cliche) where the heart is. My heart, I left it with Drew. I just keep crossing my fingers that all of this will go over well.
I have a group of people pissed off at me right now. Some are pissed that I'm leaving. Others are pissed that I'm not leaving to be with them. There isn't anything I can do. But if any of them try to screw things up for me...there will be hell to pay. Massive amounts of hell to pay.
Now all there is left to do at this point is snag one more box for my hoodies and wait out the last three days.
