I had this rediculously, unfairly hard test a couple weeks ago. It was on assembly language, specifically MIPS. The prof didn't give us any assignments to do before the test so my friends and I just did a bunch of questions from the textbook. Well, turns out the test didn't ask any textbook-like questions. In fact, we were supposed to write two programs on paper without ever programming in assembly before.
We got our tests back today. The prof decided to reduce the test total from 100 to 50. And the worst part? Even though it's out of 50 now, the average of the class is 22%! After taking off half of the marks!
But all that matters is that I got 24%. I beat the average. Phew.
