I realized that every guy I'd ever liked has ended up hurting me...a lot. This past year I decided to try something new with the love life and go around the dating pool, and maybe even like multiple men as oppose to putting all my eggs in one basket. I've met three men, all eligible bachelors with a knack for something that I enjoy. Because I've been dividing my emotions into three men...I assumed that the pain of rejection of one wouldn't hurt as bad as it used to since I technically have the others to give me the support I needed.
