If anyone needs candles, I have plenty.  [In fact, anyone who bothers to look around the Coronet House can see that there are plenty stationed periodically throughout the house.  Clearly, Haruhi is good at preparation for the worst.]  I wonder what's causing this?  The water won't even turn on.  Nero, Tamaki-senpai, Kyouya-senpai, do any of you ( Read more... )

I just hope it doesn't last too long. Things aren't that bad by day, but I'd prefer it if we didn't rely much on candles at night. Someone might bump into them.

[Bit of a sigh, shaking his head.] Don't worry about putting them out, though- I'll take care of it.

The others are that clumsy? [have a thoughtful look around] ...Maybe you're right. A couple won't hurt, though.

But, yeah, you're definitely right - power isn't something I'd like to be without for an extended period. I can't cook when the stove won't even light.

I can't say anything for sure, but having the house burn down isn't exactly something you'd wanna risk. [Scratches behind his head, looking thoughtful.]

I wonder what caused it to go out in the first place. Maybe someone will let you use their stove instead.

I'm sure Tamaki-senpai will, granted I make him dinner while I'm at it. Any requests?

As for the cause, I'd guess a storm, but it doesn't look like there's been any rain on the ground outside... how strange.

Haha, that's okay- don't worry about it.

I'm not sure, it still seems strange that it only took out one street.

Maybe someone forgot to pay the electric bill?

To be honest, I didn't even know we had to pay.

Well, we don't, but maybe regular people do and... well, no, they don't live in this part of town. I guess that doesn't make much sense.

Looks like explaining it might be even harder than fixing it, huh?

Seems that way. Maybe we should just ask the Mayor.

Actually, that might not be a bad idea. We don't have anything to lose by trying.
