(no subject)
I think it has been a really long time since I've added an entry, so here we go!
My family was out here last week and I had such a big fat hoot with them! We went out to dinner a LOT, we went to the mall (at least my mom and sister did), we went to Boulder and shopped on Pearl Street, we went to see the model of the house that Aron and I want and my family seemed to really like it, and we just hung out at my house a little bit and my mom spoiled Jetta with Snausages, Pig Ears squeaky toys and other goodies. I was proud of Jetta because she behaved herself really well with all the strangers coming into her house and I think she only tried to bite Ambry once (and she knew she wasn't supposed to right after she tried to bite Ambry because she put her head down and slinked away).
Now the family is gone, Aron is back at the Police Corps and its just Jetta and I for a few days. Aron might get to come home Friday night and he might bring another Police Corps cadet home with him because I guess this guy is from Michigan so he gets stuck staying at the Police Corps campus unless he gets invited home with the other guys. So maybe I will order pizza and rent a movie for all of us to watch. I guess I should clean the house too!
I talked to my brother last night and he said he really likes college. He doesn't like having class at 8am every day, but he's made a lot of friends, he likes his roommate, his classes seem to be pretty easy and he has already been invited to go to Vail over Labor Day with some of his new friends. I just worry that his new friends are the dumbasses who like to drink and drive, so hopefully if they are, my brother will be the responsible one and be the designated driver. Aron has gone to so many accident scenes that involve drunk college kids, and the drunk driving mixed with mountain roads makes me worry even more.
Anyways, when my parents were here, they were talking about the lady who was watching our dogs while they were out of town, and my mom was talking about how much money you can make as a dog sitter. So I was thinking, maybe one of these days I will try to start a dog sitting business. I know I'm not going to stay at my current job forever, and I really like dogs, and I also like making money, so I think that might be a good business to have. There are so many people where I live who own dogs, and where I live now already has a ton of dog sitting and doggie day care businesses, but whenever we move out to Brighton, there will probably be a bigger market for that kind of a company since it is a lot of new development so there probably aren't any dog sitters out there yet. I wonder if Aron would be embarassed if people ask him what his girlfriend (almost wife) does? I'm sure that as long as I make money, he won't care what I do!
Okay, I could go on forever but I don't think too many people care all that much about what I write here anyways so I will save some more for later.
