um. several big events have taken place since my last entry, but this entry details the total lamefuckness of communication classes. my assignment involves writing a three to four page biography of a key innovator in the field of audience research (due in 2 hours, apparently), and I got stuck with dead white guy everett rogers. he came up with the idea of "diffusion of innovations," and my paper requires no citations. seriously? wikipedia, meet paper.
