good lord its good to see the internet again!
Haha, so i've been MIA for about a week now. i was holed up in my gram's house writing my orientation letters and going slowly mad from the lack of communication with the outside world. but hopefully that will change soon cause i'll be getting letters and emails from my orientees and i'll be going out and maybe i'll even get a chance to hang out with my nearest and dearest friends! horray! haha, i miss you guys! anyways, has anyone else heard about cait doyle's party, cause i'm interested in going, but i don't want to go all by myself! haha, let me know if you want to come along with me!
i've also discovered the magic of HBO this week. haha. i've really had nothing to do, its kind of disgusting. nothing to do, and way too much on my mind. its keeping me up at night and giving me rotten nights of sleep, tossing and turning and such. its really kind of disgusting because i'm ALREADY worrying about how i'm gonna handle all the stuff that i've taken on this year. haha. not only do i have my full course-load that includes an internship, but i'm also going to be hard-core working on the yearbook, working in SGA and on our class getting ready for graduation and such, residence hall association is going to its first conference this november and i have to finish a report for them plus do all the other regular stuff, and i'm still writing for the EC (which i have a meeting for tomorrow evening). Oh, yeah, and i'm gonna be working at one, possibly two, jobs on campus. I'm not sure if i'm gonna stick with desk sitting or not, it depends on how much i want to torture myself this year. Then after all that, i'm going to try to have a life. actually see people and party and whatnot.
do you see where i'm losing sleep here? haha. i'm such a nutcase!
okay, i just got waaaay distracted and lost my train of thought. i must be overheated or something. its soooooooooo bloody hot in this city! i walked outside to go deposit my paycheck earlier and i swear i was getting dehydrated. its so gross! please give me the 80s, the low 80s! please!!!!!! or even better, the 70s! that would be sooooooo nice.
okay, i've become distracted again, its not the heat, its the tv. so that's my cue to go and veg for a little while before starting the closing down procedures in the union!
