only a couple of questions asked ....

If you could live anywhere in the world - where would it be? And if you could live any when in time - When would it be?

Anywhere? I am going to go with the real-world constraints of "living there and having a job/life", which would make me choose London. I love London. There is such an amazing combination of old-world-proper and cutting-edge. There is theater, history and anonymity. (If there were no "real-world" impositions, however, I would want to live on my own luxury yacht, traveling the world.)

Anytime? Honestly, outside of living in the future, I am pretty happy with my time period. There are many that I would want to visit - medieval Europe, the Prohibition 20's of Chicago, seeing Alexander's army roam through the world - but the idea of dying from sepsis from a simple cut, or losing my leg because there isn't any surgery .... *shudder* I'll take modern medical advances for $400, Alex.

I want to know what is the most useful accessory you own and why?

Most useful accessory? Hmmm ... I'm not quite sure how to answer this. I mean, I have lots of little toys and accessories, but I don't know how useful any of them might be. I enjoy the distraction that my movies and video game systems allow. And there is nothing like playing them on a wide-screen HDTV. Or the giggle of pleasure I get from being able to light up one of my lightsabers.

I think I'll have to go with The Jeep. Not only is it functional - for shopping, working, traveling and the rest - but the fact that I have the option ... ney, the RIGHT to drive around with the top off, enjoying the beautiful weather and having an unobstructed view of the world around me ... yeah, The Jeep. Definitely.

Although, "authentic sound" lightsabers are pretty damn cool, too!

When are you coming to visit?/When the hell are you coming to visit?

Well, since this is an Boston-based question, I'll answer for that region. I will be in the area for two VERY brief visits this summer, and then will also be there for an extended period of two weeks in August (8th - 24th) this summer. That's right, folks. Two karaoke nights in there. Dinners with old friends to have. Roaming the streets of Cambridge. Improv to be seen (and possibly performed, if plans work out.)

So don't go anywhere in August. I'll be BACK!

(For those of you not in Boston ... um ... SOON! I'll be visiting SOON!)

You own a lot of movies. What is the crappiest movie that you own (by the standards of most)...that you secretly love?

Oh, I have so man "crappy" movies that I love. Hudson Hawk, Night of the Living Dorks, Toxic Avenger, Cutthroat Island ... but I'd have to say the my personal favorite, the crème of the crapheap would be Meet The Feebles. Oversexed, AIDS infected rabbits, lothario walruses, pimp rats and machine-gun totting hippos at a puppet-run variety show! All brought to you from the twisted mind of Peter Jackson. It is The Muppet Show on heroin!

Don't worry if you feel ashamed
It's been around for years
And thousands more that can't be named
Are interested in rears
Don't worry about hell
No harm will come to your soul
We're not a Pentecostal
And everybody's got an asshole
SODOMY!

I don't have any questions! Except maybe when are you getting that tattoo?

Okay. So this question requires a little explanation. I have been planning a tattoo for the last couple of years - a 1/2 sleever for the top of my right arm - incorporating the grislier moments from the original Grimm's fairy tales and other folk-stories. Granny and Little Red looking on as the wolf drowns in the river, his stomach full of stones. Princes falling into the thorns around Rapunzel's tower, blinded by thorns. Cinderella's step-sisters with their hacked up feet being blinded by birds. Hansel and Gretel roasting the witch in her oven. All in the same forest ... The problem I've been having is finding the artist to put together the art for me. I have several friends who are great artists, but this is a pretty big project and would require a lot of tweaking and re-drawing before I'm sure it will be correct. So, I'm still hunting down art. Ideally, I would love for it to be in the style of a children's book watercolor illustration, just with a much darker theme.

So ... the answer is, whenever I can get the art done.

movies, visits, history, questions, tattoos
