Valentine's Day!
OMG...I can't even explain to you how romantic my Valentine's has been this year! Dustin and I went out Saturday to celebrate at a Japanese steakhouse that just opened near him. It was SO yummy! Well...I thought so...:-P Then we went back to his place and he lite candles all over the room! Like 12! I don't know how he guessed I've always wanted someone to do that..but he did it! We gave each other presents..there is one I can't say (b/c he wasn't supposed to give it to me, but he broke the rules and did! :-P), but he gave me a marine bear, a rose scented candle, little lotions he knew I had said I wanted, and of course a chocolate heart. Plus 2 cards! One sweet and one funny. :) Then today...he had sent me 6 gourmet chocolate covered strawberries! Plus tulips and a balloon! So sweet! I can't wait to see him this weekend!!!
Oh..so I have to fill you in with this past weekend. I took off work and went down to his place for the YM campout on Friday night. Well..haha..they cancelled it and didn't tell him until like an hour before we were supposed to be there! So we called Jeremy and Dawn and had dinner w/them and "camped out" at their place! :) We are so creative..:-P Sat we went back to his place and cleaned up and got ready for the YM valentine dance thing and then our dinner. The YM Valentine dance kinda sucked..but the people were nice and it was fun. Dinner and then after were amazing! (read above for details on that) Sunday we woke up and hung out for a bit, then 1pmish we left for Columbia, SC and the Motley Crue concert!! I slept most of the way..I was getting a cold and popping meds..so poor Dustin had to drive like the 4 1/2 hours down w/no one to talk to...:-P We ate at IHOP, then went to the AWESOME concert!!!!!!!! Then we hopped in the car and drove back..I staid awake for like 1 1/2 hours that time...:-P We got back at 4:30amish and he called his CO and we went to sleep. We woke up at like 9 and watched a movie or two..took showers..then I left at around 3ish to come home. BUSY weekend..but so much fun!!
Dustin comes this weekend to go sight seeing and just hang out..then next weekend is his birthday!!!
K..that's for the Dustin part of my life..as for the work part..lots of craziness going on! I'm doing a long term sub job at Oak View again, but I've already accepted some other sub jobs..so I'm kinda switching off and on w/jobs..a bit confusing..but yeah. Today..I went through like 4 schedules before settling on my original for the day! I had to inform MY sub what she was doing, then look at my schedule, then Debbie pulled me and asked me to cover the morning for a teacher that was sick, which turned into all day, but then the sub came in and I had to explain everything to her, so I went back to my original schedule for the day. Yeah..crazy, but fun! :) Appletree is still Appletree...:-P I'm now taking Danny home on Wednesdays and watching him until 9-10pmish when his mother comes home. $10/hour in cash..not bad!
Oh..so to get a VA license w/having a PA license, supposedly all I have to do is take another Praxis II (content knowledge), which happens to fall on April 29th! At least it's only a 2 hour test! :) Oh..and Fairfax job fair is March 4th, so I have my formal interview at like 8:45am for that..a little nervous I tell ya! Everyone's backing me though and I have so much support..I couldn't imagine having better co-workers at Appletree and Oak View. They give me confidence and tips and..they are amazing.
Oh..I'm going to see Rachel and Jason and Baby in the middle of March I hope!!! She says she's big, but she's so tiny this I have to see! Don't worry..I'll take pix...;)
