New Fables Seeking Submissions
The semi-pro market "New Fables" hasn't been able to find enough quality material for a new issue. They seek original stories using animal characters to tell basic human stories, and want pieces in a literary tradition (fables and folk tales).
Guidelines are here. They pay half a cent a word and prefer stories under 15,000 words. Poems are also accepted and are paid a flat rate of $20.
It's a good market, I've enjoyed working with their editors. Try them! :)
