Three Awesome Things
1. I biked the Königstuhl today! It's this really awesome hill that I never made up until I borrowed a friend's bike that isn't crappy. It turns out going far in a two-speed doesn't go well - who knew?
Also, on a side note, the sunlit-breaks in the trees on the bike ride at the top of the hill (with some maneuvering) time perfectly to the crescendos and decrescendos in "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol, and then at the climax, it breaks into this field of grass that is completely open to the sun. Which is extra awesome.
2. Deutschland made it to the finals of the Europäishe Fußball Meisterschaft - the European Soccer Championships! There isn't like watching Germany in Germany win the semi-finals of soccer to make you an instant fan.
3. I have HUGE CRYSTALS! Which means my work here is not a complete waste of time! I may still never become a lab science, but yay!
I really would like to update from Brussels, Copenhagen, and other things... but since the death of the compy, it will be delayed. I suppose that's the sad part of the post.
