The first snow of 2010 fell last night. Unlike my birthday snow, it stuck. Now it is here. And I am stuck and must shovel, for although this gets me out of my part-time job today it may not tomorrow.
Here is a crappy cell phone image for you.
It's pretty before it gets shoveled, I decided a long time ago. It's also dangerous, although not so bad as someone tried to tell me years ago. You watch yourself, and you be careful. Beautiful things can be deadly, but usually because you're being a moron.
The last of my holiday company left yesterday - it appears she got out of here just in time. But she didn't leave before we traveled to Bowling Green to meet my UFO contact and have lunch. It was a very good lunch. I got to energy play for once, and we all laughed and had a good time. I was so tired afterward - I'm out of practice and getting flabby there too. I need to do something to spark my life back up again.
I have one idea - or rather, my husband had this idea. It's a toy you can find at Toys R Us. Can't afford it right now, though. So one will think of other means.
I must say with satisfaction that my holiday company left properly addicted to Magic the Gathering. Yes, yes... I can still tempt with the best of them. *blows on knuckles*
Since I can't part-time job today I'll spend a full day drawing pictures inbetween shoveling snow. My day shall be productive regardless.
We have the spirit house finally set, too. Now to catch up on bills. -_- I can't wait. Stinky snow. I kind of need my part-time job to do that.
