... you are aware that I don't believe in God the way other people believe in God. It's all part and parcel to being a Chaos Personage, and it's how we live, breathe, and survive. Right and real are all a matter of perspective, and you soon discover that what's truly important is how much mayo is on your ham sandwich.
I do my Esoteric (why Esoteric, you? Hey! Where the hell are you going?!? If you're going to help me write this post, at least explain your choice of words! Come back here!!!) - I do my Job/Role/"image of a spot in a dimensional layer as seen from the Peer View" because it's what I do. And it's very hard to go against it. We are what we are. To go against what I do is to ask a dog to be an elephant. Damn hard.
I know why the comic is a tool. Those that visit me from "Beyond" (again, why the choice of words you?) are concerned about the information not surviving. A lot will not survive from one age to another, but that is also common. Devices get damaged. Reading the Akashic Records the way they do to come to me can only go so far.
(On a side note, I also know why a good many people are "tools" in the insult sense... but that doesn't make me like them any more than I don't already.)
Still. I am gratified that already on the 2nd day of this month two books have sold through the Kindle system. It's only a few cents in royalties, but with luck a few more cents will be had by other sales and I'll have a whole ten bucks. That would be awesome. I haven't seen a royalty check in years. They're fun to get.
This is why one rants at the Powers that Shouldn't Be, you see. It kicks their butts in gear.
BUT DON'T YOU LAZY SUCKERS FOR THE FIRST MOMENT EXPECT I'M GOING TO BE HAPPY WITH A MEASLY THIRTY-FIVE CENTS!!!! I gotta pay the light bill and mortgage you know! No mortgage, no Temple to Nothing! Get it in gear!!!!
On a more mundane note, I was up until 3 in the morning last night painting my first Warhammer figurine. The tutorials I found on the 'net sucked so I ended up "picking at floating information" and figuring it out for myself. So far I think it's not half-bad, but that's normal for a first time artistic endeavor I suspect. Pictures will be posted eventually.
And another thing I feel needs being said to the world at large.
There's a person out there I halfway know who also has a Role. Like me, she is in the UFO aspect of everything and very much into what she's doing.
I asked her yesterday if she went to UFO meetings such as MUFON and how neat it would be if she and I were able to meet in the flesh at one of those. She said, very politely I might add she's a very nice person, that she doesn't do things like that. Her blogs take up all of her time, and anyway she apparently sees the grande scheme of things better from where she stands.
I thought about that.
My tri-state consensus (even if only 2 of me were talking) was that we did not agree. You do not see everything by shutting yourself in the attic and keeping other points of view away from you. You see far far less than you think you do.
If you have a Role and you are working hard to be faithful in it, I highly recommend you get out there and mingle once in a while. I go to MUFON meetings and other meetings because for all I am Who and What I am, I won't be very good at it unless I know Who and What everyone else is. And I won't know what's going on for them on their end of the Job unless I learn it and see it.
There are hidden motives out there one must discover. It's not necessarily because of some conspiracy, mind you. Usually it's because these motives are limited to relevance and other people won't think to tell you about it, most likely because it's none of your business. So it's up to you to get out there and see, feel, touch and do.
If you spend your life in the attic, all you're going to have is a bunch of junk to work with. Turning on the radio or watching T.V. will never get you out of the attic and into the game. :-p
