two things of note. one-i have found a new life-path. given my recent success in my archaeology class (i wrote the best paper about neanderthal cognition in the class, believe it or not! i won a book to prove it!), i've decided that archaeology is my new academic interest. move over, shakespeare, foucault, barthes, and butler, lauren has a new best friend, and he has a long sloping forehead, prominent eyebrow ridges, and no chin.
on a completely unrelated topic (or IS it??), i was late to class today, and instead of putting on deoderant, i opted to find my Wilco cd ("AM", the old-school Wilco, not Jeff Tweedy's freak-out albums) to listen to on the way to class. once again, Jeff Tweedy has shown me the way: music is more important than personal hygiene any day.
