Life as it is

Wow....I can't believe they haven't spruced my account out yet. It's been well over a year since I last posted. Hell, I used to do it quite a lot back in high school, once every day or other day. Then we got to college, and life started changing. It's changed in more ways than I can spot these days.
So where to begin? It's my fourth year, and I've decided to go the premed route. I'm starting to look at med school, so I can be a good Jewish doctah. Yea, mom won, though it wasn't through her that I got to this point. I just read over the last three posts I put up, and in some ways, they still hold true. Ok, so I can find some happiness these days, but it's buried under mounds of work. I have to work my tight little tuchus off to find a bit of gaming time, but hey, I'm happy when I game. Then there's the show. It's all mine, and I get to play what I want, talk about what I want, in whatever language I want. It's quite liberating. It's like an hour, all my own, to reminisce about the things I miss from Israel. I haven't been in a little over a year. This is my way of remembering what's there, and what I'm missing.
As for Lynn and I, things are going pretty well. We're trying to schedule a flight for her, so she can visit me in December, and we can do all our usual goofy things. Except this time around, we can go do something we both love and haven't been able to do together: go to a hockey game. And if I'm lucky, she'll teach me how to ice skate. Yea, I know how to handle the stick, and I have great puck control, but before you can fiddle with that black rubber mass, you have to know how to skate. Oh well.
Speaking of which, I'm not overly happy with how the thrashers started off their season. We're losing a little too often, Kovie isn't getting the ice time he deserves, and he's being locked down by all other teams. Well, I'm not going to ramble on about that.
I got my carry permit a few months back. Now the argument turns from "when you get your permit" to "where will you carry?". I want my firearm, I even picked one out. It's CHEAP!!(as far as firearms go). A Kel-Tec PF-9. It's not fun to shoot, not in the least, but it's accurate, highly concealable, can handle +P ammo, and delivers enough velocity that hollow points expand consistently. In short, a great carry gun.
OK, this little review of my life is going to come to an end. Maybe another day I'll post about my feelings, or something, but until then, it's a busy day, it's a busy week, and I should get to work. Later
