Thank you very much, I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I make a point of being as realistic as possible, so I'm really glad that you thought this story was that way. And elegant! That's not something I'm usually very good at, but thank you!
Thank you! I've written a lot about the two of them, but usually in relation to the men of the family rather than each other. (Then again I've never once touched on the relationship between Sayu and her father. I need to fix this.) Anyway yes, I thought I should look into the mother-daughter thing. All the relationships in the Yagami family are fascinating. And I really, really like your icon. :D
Yeah...I wonder how Sayu reacts to her father's death...if anyone even tells her until she's recovered sufficiently. And yeah, I love Soichiro. He isn't my favorite character, but he's totally fantastic, and when I've written about him I've really enjoyed it. (Even though I wrote about him discovering who Light was, which was painful...)
Yeah, the Yagamis are really fairly normal, it's just that everything goes to hell in the end. Part of what makes the family's destruction so sad is that they were so ordinary beforehand.

It's something that I've considered for a long time myself, especially given Sayu's kidnapping and the way that the story ends for both of them.
And I really, really like your icon.
*g* Thank you! It was intended half as a joke, and half as... really, really not. Either way, Soichirou is truly one of my favorites. *hearts*
