So, things have been really slowing down for me in the real estate market, so I have gone to beat some bushes. I got an e-mail from a new Real Estate Investor Association (REIA) that was in my neighborhood and decided to go throw some cards at it and smile and the like. What an awesome idea! It would be a bit of a drive to GA from here. Do they have chapters in other part of the country?

Sorry to hear about the business. The group sounds pretty awesome, it's no mean feat to rehab a house...I'd wager in some ways if the work isn't harder than building one from scratch since you have to work around what's already there. All our stuff that is building materials we don't use gets donated to Habitat for Humanity (they have a donation center just up the street) but I don't wonder with all the overhang of inventory whether they're going to need to switch their mission to more of this conversion of existing houses.
