I decided to write another chapter of 'The Dark Companion' first before I finish this story off - I happened to notice that it had been exactly a year since I last touched 'The Dark Companion' and that spurred me into revisiting it. I'll do the conclusion of this story after that.
I don't know anything about the treatment of ChefJackButler. I've never read any of his stories at TtH, as the summaries have always made me feel that I'd rather have my toes eaten off by piranha than read the stories, and so I have no idea what the problem is. And I've been posting at the site for 9 1/2 years now and never had a problem with the mods. I'd prefer it if they dropped the Buffyverse requirement and made it a site for any crossovers but I can see their point of view on that issue. Apart from that I find the site easier to use than any other archive except perhaps for the Lord of the Rings-centric archive 'Faerie'.
And I have massive problems with AO3, which I regard as horribly clunky, hugely sexist, and cliquey. I don't even read fic there unless there is absolutely nowhere else where it can be found. I'll stick to TtH, FF.net, and LJ.
