Good King Richard

I'm upset that they're going to re-bury Good King Richard in Leicester. He should go home to York.

Leicester sheltered him when no-one else would; I'd say he deserves to be in the place that did its best to keep him safe.

Besides, so long as no-one's crass enough to suggest Windsor, does it really matter that much?

I'm not invested either way, but Leicester did all the work!

As Lisa says, Leicester did do all the work. There's an argument for Middleham, along the lines of that hideous mausoleum at Windsor.

The whole story about finding the corpse and identifying it as Richard III is amazing all by itself. Not being a Brit, I have no thoughts about where he should be reburied.

Perhaps the Richrd III Society will steal him at dead of night, transport him up the motorway in a cardboard box draped in a flag, and re-inter him at dead of night under the floor of the Choir in York Minster. I wouldn't put it past that Philippa woman - she has mad eyes.
