Drabble: The Battle At Pooh Corner
Second post of the day; spamming in celebration of my new 8Mb/s broadband! Here’s an insane drabble that has suddenly popped into my head. Dedicated to quinara. Perhaps the world’s first ever Gladiator/Winnie the Pooh crossover fic! 100 words, G.
The Battle At Pooh Corner
Eduardus Ursus, Winnie ille Pu, sat on a camp stool and ate Hunny while he pondered the situation. He wasn’t sure how he had come to be in command of a Roman army but he would do his best. The legionaries seemed to know what they were doing; perhaps he could just give the command and let them get on with it.
On the other side of the valley the Germanic tribesmen were, for some strange reason, performing a traditional Zulu chant. Winnie ille Pu frowned and stood up.
“On my signal,” he called out to the legions, “unleash Bother.”
