I make good mix CDs. I don't know what you like, but if you put yourself out there a little (I will be doing the same) I think we could make each other happy. I really want to get back into the habit of making mixes now that I am settled in a little more. Unfortuantely I left my CD player at home and won't be able to get one for... when do you think I will be motivated enough to buy one? So until that time let's do this on a grander scale. If you mail one to me I will mail one to you. I will toss in some stickers and stuff if you need any more incentive.
I live in Eau Claire, WI now so if you want my address, just shoot me a little comment or something using the form in the sidebar. Let's try and get creative. I am literally twitching without Photoshop, so we will both be a little out of our comfort zones, but I think this could be good.
Lately, everything has been inspiring me, and I want to get back into my Photoshop safety bubble ASAP. I will try to take some photos of the beautiful new city I live in, but if you don't want to wait you can just check out some of the future issues of the UW-EC school newspaper The Spectator. I just signed up to be a photographer for it, and after a fantastic chat with my CJ (communication journalism) professor, I think I am definately headed in the direction I want to go. When the polars bears make their comeback, you can bet I will be behind it.
And as we all know today is a day that American's can never forget. 7 years ago(!) seems like a long time because so much has changed, but I guess some things never will. Today on campus the Republican Club put 3,000 flags in a grid on the campus mall. It rained a lot so on my way running past it I almost thought it looked little and unimportant. But then I stopped, because of course miniature American flags look small, they are small. Imagine though if those had been people. 3,000 people standing in a grid would have filled the mall. If you put all of the family and friends that miss them out there too it would have filled lower campus and probably started creeping up the hill. That would have created a sight that I would remember for 7 years.
Current Music: Feist. It's a remix so it is really techno-y but that seems like a good place to end.
