I adore graffiti. I adore sky trains. Even though i miss certain people theres a lot of things i don't wish to return to on the island... a lot lately.
Today Stacey took us out for dinner at Rodneys, a place known for its beeeautiful waiters. However it was really expensive..so i felt kinda guilty.. but stacey wouldn;t let me feel guilty. We decided to go to Davie street for dessert.. davie street is also known as gay town. theres pride flags everywhere.. including on the fire truck which has a huge banner that says "serving with pride".
We got caught in a sudden downpour and were sopping wet by the time we found somewhere to eat.
After dessert tonii and i got camera happy.. as well as when we saw the graffiti.. mm digital cameras.
Hah warrior baby is staring at me..which reminds me that i had a staring contest with a baby on the bus this morning..aand then some seedy guy goes "he's giving you there eyyyyeees". right now i'm tormenting cliffy by not giving him an icon.. oh man its great fun.
I kind of wish i could live in a big city, right now. just pack up and leave.. sounds so appealing. ..who needs highschool..... ...they actually do have programs here for sixteen and up people who are working full time and still want to complete highschool...
oh well i must watch my mouth... i could upset a lot of people by saying there was nothing in the valley to stay for.. there are somethings.. but you know.. meh i'm just in a spontaneous drop it all mood.
We tried to break into a few places but god damn vancouver is full of alarms. Tomorrow we're going to the for sure abandoned houses so that should be good. Anyway i may go have a nice, hot shower now.. rinse away the rain water and city grime.
In the davie street café it was quiet, and we watched the rain. People passed by, attempting to block the rain with newspapers, and boys who huddle together under tiny umbrellas. Couples who kep eachother warm with their breath. We moved silently through the night, snapped pictures that made it look as though the whole world was on fire. there was art in every window, and from the top of some building a bubble machine was going.
We stopped in at a piano shop today. I was pleasantly suprised that stacey could play. she was really good and it was ethreal just sitting there in the sunlight pouring in, our eyes closed listening to classical stemming from her fingers.
The graffiti in the alley way had a poster on top of it. the poster was apicture of a girl in alice in wonderland type garb, it read "hunting for hearts ~weakhand"
anyway i'm done beign litterary. Good night all.
