Okay, so the SG1 team teams up with the Russians and they go off to explore this Ziggurat of Marduk. I can buy that. Upon arriving at said ziggurat, they discover a rather recent skeleton of Russian origin with bitty little teeth marks all over it. They're a grand total of about twenty feet from the entrance of the aforementioned Ziggurat. WHY on earth do they keep going further in? Did these people not watch the Mummy? It's all about little buggy things eating peo-OMG WHAT IS THAT THING!?
I have to go find some Raid, like NOW. It's like King Kong all over again.
Oddly enough, the subtitles are translating all of the Russian for me. I am learning a very large vocabulary, but nothing that I can say in public should I ever go to Russia.
And, let me reiterate for the eighty bazillionth time, just how awesome Daniel Jackson is. I am really dreading the sixth season. I think I'll buy the sixth AND seventh seasons and then devote an entire weekend to watching Season 6 so as to get it over with and get Daniel back. He does come back into it at the very start of the seventh season, correct?
On second viewing, the creepy little bug thing is actually kind of cute in the same way that the baby vampires in Van Helsing are. Which is to say, they aren't really, but you still feel kind of sad when they die.
I want to watch more Jake 2.0.
