Warnings- Pushing PG-13, but no quite there, I think. Guy talk. Like, sex is mentioned. But that's be expected. Shoon's sixteen, and Morgan's twenty-one, what do you think guys that age are going to talk about?
Morgan: *warming up in their temp room in the manor*
Shoon: *is too, under a heap of blankets*
Morgan: *not surprised Shoon is curled near him again; it's oddly comforting*
Shoon: *is happy where he is* You feel better Morgan?
Morgan: I do. It's much warmer here in the manor. My eyes don't hurt now.
Shoon: *smiles* Good.
Morgan: May I ask you something? Does this...please you? Being close like this?
Shoon: *blinks and sits up* Yeah...it does...why?
Morgan: *how to say the thought half-formed in his head* Is it because you're afraid I'll go away somewhere? Having been separated for so long and seeing each other again?
Shoon: A little bit. I mean...you were my best friend, and then you were gone. But I also know that you're a grown up now, and sometimes you gotta go somewhere. Like on a journey or something. But...mostly....I just like, you know, hanging out with you.
Morgan: Spending time, even like this? *smiles in the dark* You are the only one I'd let do this.
Shoon: Let's do what?
Morgan: Sleep next to me. Curled together like so many puppies.
Shoon: *face flushed a little* Oh. Well, yeah, I like it. It's comfortable. I feel... safe, I guess. Like, it's all cool.
Morgan: I think so as well. *settles back in and tugs Shoon down in the blankets*
Shoon: *makes a small sound and lays against Morgan, giving a content sigh*
Morgan: I suppose I will have to do as a substitute until some woman strikes your fancy.
Shoon: *totally blushing now* Morgan!
Morgan: Oh? Is there someone who's caught your eye already?
Shoon: I...er....uh....... N-not really...
Morgan: *tone lightly teasing* Come on now, do I know the person?
Shoon: Th-there's no girl...
Morgan: Ahhh, that's a shame. I can't tease you now if you don't have a girl you like.
Shoon: *Lightly punches Morgan in the shoulder* Don't be a jerk. *pauses* How about you?
Morgan: Well, when I was in the war, there was a woman who was kind to me. But she chose to go her own way and I went back to the temple. I don't hear her voice in this place, so I assume I must listen to others and find out if they would like to be with me.
Shoon: Oh...*isn't sure how he feels about that answer* What was her name?
Morgan: Her name was Sara. I think she worked in the laundry at Toran Castle. *smiles* She was very kind to me. -Very- kind.
Shoon: Oh? *curious now*
Morgan: Have you been with a woman yet, Shoon? *blunt*
Shoon: * a little shy, but enboldened by Morgan's bluntness* No...but, I'm not exactly innocent...
Morgan: Ah, so you know some things in your experience. I can't tell you what to do but...I find it's wonderful to be with a woman when you both care about each other. It adds layers of meaning to your time together.
Shoon: I know that, Morgan. I did lots of traveling. And I told you, I ain't exactly innocent.
Morgan: Ah. *that seems to be all he can say to reply* Well then. You will let me know when you find a nice girl. I really will tease you then.
Shoon: *leans into Morgan and presses his face against the other man's chest* Yeah yeah, whatever.
Morgan: *chuckling in the dark* I allow you to do the same if I find a woman as well.
