I cheat a lot. [laughs] I'm bad at actually watching/reading canons, but I'm pretty good at stalking characters in camp, checking out their app canons, and otherwise getting a feel for their general personality, so I can figure out how Cass would read them and what her impressions would be. (This is easiest when I actually know the canon, but.) I also pay attention to icons and keywords; even if I need to filter for jokes/OOC stuff, it helps. And I bookmarked that poll I made in the OOC comm about body language, so I can refer back as needed.

I do have to bend ICness a little for the sake of gameplay, though, especially since I don't hang out on IRC or gchat -- mostly, that involves having Cass be a little more uncertain about her assessments than she technically should be, so I can backpedal if I need to. >_> ("You're . . . upset?" "No." "Sorry. Said it wrong." That sort of thing.) And there's the canon limits to her godmoding, which help a lot: she's only fluent in relatively-normal-human body language, although she can pick up on other variants pretty fast, and most people in camp aren't relatively-normal-humans.

What character from any of your canons would you most want to see in camp?

*nods* For the record, from what I've seen I think you do it very well. I can't even imagine trying to make a character like Cass work without cheating on irc. (What's the funniest keyword you've found on your quest for IC cues?)

Hmmm... selfishly, I want another CCS!Sakura so I have an excuse to keep Toya in camp a little longer. Unselfishly, Oz from Buffy. I don't understand why no one has apped this boy yet, he's perfect for camp.

Thank you! Yeah, over the summer I'm definitely going to be on IRC more, because I'll be getting Cass out more and I'll need it.
