Through revelatory interviews with key members of Congress, a former IRS Commissioner, tax attorneys, agents from the IRS and FBI, and various authors, Russo demystifies federal income tax and the creation of money.
Wow... it has been a long time, since I've seen an entertaining, thought provoking and informative documentary. This is an absolute must-see for everyone. While I don't completely buy into all of his arguments, his presentation of them make it hard to ignore.
It's no the most technically proficient documentary having some pacing, sound editing issues. But overall, it was fantastic. I even laughed out loud which is pretty rare for me in a documentary.
This isn't a film that slants Left/Right but a film about government and business. One that after a good night's sleep is still haunting me. I'm not a conspiracy theorist but this one has me thinking - could it be true? Could it all be a carefully constructed ruse? Has our government begun to rule by threat and enforcement rather than by law?
The sad thing is that the documentary never answered the question - is there a law requiring citizens to pay income tax? I'm beginning to think that the reason why the question was never answered is because there is no law.
I DARE anyone to watch this movie and not question a few things.
