Babylon 5: The TV Series

I finished this TV series last night. I've been getting the season sets
from the local library (thank you taxpayers) since before O was born (or
right after, I can't remember).

Wow.... just wow. This is probably one of the best TV series I've seen.
Sure, it's old.. sure the special effects in S1 were a little hokey (it
started in '93, what do you expect). But if you look past it's age, you'll
find a very solid show about themes and characters.

This show unlike many others.. had a vision from the beginning. The
creators of the show had mapped out a 5 year story before they ever shot 1mm
of film. And it works, gloriously.

Season 5 is nothing but payoff and the ending is bittersweet, I didn't
really want the story of Babylon5 to end... fortunately, there are some
movies and a spin-off called Crusade for me to watch if I need a fix.

Kudos to JMS, the cast, the crew, and fans that kept the series going so
that the 5 year story of Babylon5 could be told and years later, I could
experience it.

Next up: The Greatest American Hero... cheesy fun!!
