It is not an apology. Daniel's voice echoes like Morpheus' voice, but is gentler. Warmer. More human, on a fundamental level.

The air smells like the kind of wild flowers that you get in Tibet. Hardy things that cling to the mountains and shake defiantly in the winds.
A lot like Dale, really.
