a chill in the air
so yesterday was my birthday. quite exciting. i'm officially sixteen and officially have my permit.
so yesterday when i got to school laura had made me brownies and annie made me a cd. the rest of the day i was carrying this fabulously embarassing display of brownies and everyone kept asking if it was my birthday, and that was fun. got some time cut out of classes due to some prolonged 'happy birthdays'. later i went to foote to hang out with some people. we went back to toby's for a little bit then christina, audrey, sarah, chelsea and i watched the guys play soccer. THEN i was late to my own birthday party, but that's okay. grand entrance, right? tabor called in the middle of supper (after lily called) and so i excused myself and went outside and talked with him. it was so gorgeous out; it was nice and cold and i could see my breath and i loved it. just in that moment, talking to tabor and looking at the stars, i felt so happy. knowing i was going to be WITH him in a week. knowing i was going to be able to hug leti and galen for dear life, and party and laugh and eat and relax and be totally happy. not to say that things here aren't going well. i'm really starting to relax at cross and eca. i'm making friends meeting a lot of people. i absolutely love eca, just the whole atmosphere is amazing. cross isn't so bad either. haha. it's so fun.
okay. that's enough for now. i have to say i'm quite proud of myself for not crashing or breaking the law in any way on the way home today. it was good.
