So yeah. life is life.
Talkin to Kelsey with e-mail, yay! Had vaulting again today. It was decent. I had really good vaults and am sooooo close to getting on this 12' pole it's not even funny.
Except for I kinda jumped off of the wrong foot. Twice. This is a very grave mistake in pole vauling. You see, the first time that I did it, I had no clue what I did wrong, and just knew that my vault was funny, but I didn't notice that I was jumping off of the wrong foot, so I jumped full force into the vault anyway. Resulting in me getting rejected and propelled ridiculously backward, and lets all keep in mind that this is an 11' pole. So I come crashing down from 11' in the air with no clue what the fuck went wrong except for that SOMETHING went wrong, and I just came down just enough to the left to try and land on the mats, except for I was angled backwards away from them, and really just ended up launching myself even more backwards away from the mats. So, as you can guess, I land full force on my ass and the left muscle part of my back. Ouch. And of course everyone laughed at me. It actually didn't really hurt that bad except for my pride. So the next to vaults were okay, but then I did it AGAIN!! I landed on the mats the second time though. But there was something seriously wrong with my brain today...
