At Ease
Summary/Highlights: Less homeworks = relaxation, Filipino song interpretation, haircut, new fandoms, club/computer-related things, birthday
=u= Whaaa, I'm so relaxed this week. Surprisingly, there are less homeworks. There were no classes this Monday. Wednesday was a half day, because classes were suspended then. Every lunch break, our class - actually, almost every section, including the other high school levels - practices in the classroom for the sophomore's Filipino song interpretation. Everyone cooperated; of course there was an occasional delay in following the leaders just like every time, but it all went pretty well.
Thursday, biology time was used for THE presentations. I was surprised at the setting of the hall; the chairs were facing the back, not the stage. Apparently the judges were the ones at the stage, and the performers will be at the back - more space for us. XP Before we had the performances, one of our classmates told us "Kahit first place man lang, okay na rin!" which means "Even at least first place, it'd be fine already!" Hahaha! XD
Our formation was of the Philippine flag, so we were divided into three groups - red, blue, and yellow + white. We had to wear the t-shirt and paint our hands with the color of our respective... colors. There was a rule: no bangs(we have to keep it from covering our faces) and no loose hair(would look messy). Bad timing. ಠ_ಠ I just had my hair cut, can't tie my hair, yadda yadda. What does the world have against me?! XD But it's fine now. Then, a red and a blue triangle was written on our left and right cheeks.
During our practices, I had confidence that we had a chance of placing, but when I saw the other section's performances, it had me a little worried. I messed up a little during our performance (the clapping, and a few extra steps away from where I'm supposed to be), and it's as if my memory of vision was blurred - I was aware, but as if I was drunk... XP I was a little disheartened then, but I guess I was focusing and worrying too much on myself.
I was surprised. We won! ♥ I'm so happy. *o*
Last Saturday, I had my hair cut. Bangs. And now my hair looks like Lal Mirch of Katekyo Hitman Reborn!~ XD
I started reading Bakuman and watching Code Geass. CC has green haiiir~ <3 *shot*
During club time, I was practicing the basic mates with the moderator. I learned about the existence of the word stalemate (DX It's unfair, hey!), and basically was scratching my head off because it seems as if I was the one being chased/cornered, while it is supposed to be the other way around. XP Once dismissed, everyone went out of the room (normally, some of them would stay), and a club officer said "Sir is not there? But that's his den!". LMAO at that statement. XD I got to learn a bit about C++~
Also, there will be no classes on Monday, no subjects on Tuesday (we'll all just be happy enjoying the programs) and something similar on Wednesday. Saturday will be the outreach program - I wonder how it will go?
