Alright...so to update you all for a little bit. Nothing in great detail though simply because i dun feel like it.
The day after Thanksgiving i was due at work at 07:00. I didn't get there at that time due to the fact that somehow i blacked out on my bathroom floor that morning and didn't wake up until around 07:45. I had been there since 05:00. I managed to get into work after calling in (in hysterics mind you from being disoriented and everything else) and managed not to get fired, simply warned. Very shibby.
The next day, i also had work. That evening i was due to work from 17:00-??? I was restocking so it wasn't any big deal. However, that night i was hit with a really nasty fever that appeared out of nowhere. I'm not sure how high it got, but it wasn't pretty. Nanette seemed to notice this and thus didn't harp on me much. She deserves kudos for that. (As i come to find out later, she has the same thing i have...or so it would seem...)
That night i go home and have myself a turkey sandwich with Turkey from Thanksgiving and then some hot tea with lemon and honey and some ibuprofin as well as my usual vitamins. Felt a lot better and thus went to bed. The next morning, felt fine. Work again, and that went well enough. That night however was hell. My fever spiked up to 104 for an hour and a half. I was rather scared, but realized there was little i could do. So i rode it out and popped some more pillage and survived.
The fever has been low grade since then because it has been maintained with Acetametaphin. However, whereas the fever has toned down, the other effect of whatever i have has gotten worse. My throat is a disaster area. I can still speak, thankfully. However, swallowing anything (even water) hurts like heck. I went to the doctor yesterday and the diagnoses wasn't conclusive other than that it ISN'T strep. So that's good news. However, the way it would appear is that i have some form of ulcers all in my throat and whatnot and they are causing this pain. He prescribed me this mouthwash stuff that can numb the whole mess but i'm not sure how much it will cost me so instead i'm seeing if there is some other option i can cook up.
So yah, my gums are swelling somewhat, still have aches and pains, and i can't eat solid foods. It really sucks serious monkey chunks. However, the doctor didn't really give me a conclusive diagnoses so...yah. He said that iffen it gets worse by Friday to give him a call and then he will put me on an antibiotic. Why i'm not sure, they aren't even positive that it's bacterial...it might be viral. If it's viral then an antibiotic won't do any good. ::Shrug::
On another note, Sierra quit from EBT. So she isn't with us anymore.
