Water has such a profound presence in our lives. It shapes our bodies and minds and allows us to live each day. Paddling has taught be the importance of water quality and its effect on our lives. From the viewpoint of a canoe, I notice that we are all tiny parts in something much larger than we can imagine. Every fish, turtle, and mussel below and every bird and insects above us are part of an inner circle. Every action we take has a butterfly effect on every other earthly species. Let us appreciate Mother Nature in all her beauty and generosity.
