As far as Dr. Giggles goes, I'd ask for a second opinion if I were you. Or in the case of the "cysts," a third opinion. Remember that you have the right to refuse that pelvic ultrasound unless you're convinced you need it. She probably wouldn't take it as a slight to her proffessional competence if you asked to talk to somebody else about that. A specialist, maybe. Or the janitor. ANYONE who actually seems like they know what they're talking about.
