So You Think You Can Dance is coming to Canada.

CTV says it has signed a deal to make a Canuck version of the popular televised dance contest.

In So You Think You Can Dance Canada dancers will strut their stuff in front of judges during cross-country auditions. They will then be whittled down to 20 finalists and each week viewers will decide who is voted off.

CTV says Canada joins the U.S., Norway, Denmark, Greece, Turkey and Israel, which have original So You Think You Can Dance productions.

"I have had a fabulous relationship with CTV over the years with a number of hit shows including Canadian Idol and American Idol," said music mogul Simon Fuller, who created Idol and So You Think You Can Dance.

"I am hoping that our partnership continues for many more years to come."
