Today was a day that I asked for off to go to Six Flags with Amanda, but the forecast was really crappy so we didn't go. This was the second time already that the weather has ruined my plans, and it wasn't even really that crappy out today! (At least here) so that was really annoying. But it was still nice to have the day off.
I tried to sleep in, which of course was only till 10:30 instead of like 12. But whatever, no prob. Around 12 I decided to put away the laundry that was sitting in my room, cleaned up a little, and vacuumed. Then I decided I wanted to buy paint, becuase a long time ago I bought wooden letters that spell my name, and I wanted to paint them. So I looked up Craft stores, and found two in Brookfield.
The other day Nik's mom bought me two shirts, so I wore one of htem and my SPAIN SKIRT <3 and Tracy said it was a cute outfit, which almost never happens. Haha. And then when I was heading out to the car, I decided to check the mail. And I saw my favorite thing... one of those big green and white envelopes that usually indicates an autograph. With my hands already kind of full, I struggled to open it. And inside I found a manilla envelope, which was clasped shut and also stuck shut. So I struggled to open that, and inside there was a manilla folder. So FINALLY inside that was a (copied) autographed picture of the Extremem Makeover: Home Edition cast. Which was really exciting, because that show rocks. And I only sent for it a few weeks ago, so it was rgeat that it came so fast.
So I went to Dunkin' Donuts to get a toasted almond iced coffee (somehow my new addiction) and then went to Michaels. I didn't spend too much, which was fab, and I got paint and a coloring book and some other stuff. Then I briefly went to Kohls, and then drove around for a while looking for JoAnn's. I almost gave up adn then found it, but didn't buy anything. So it wasn't really necessary.
Then I came home and looke through the Weight Watchers cookbook I bought, and decided on some things to make for dinner next week. I think on Monday. I'm excited. I'm not telling the fam what it is, so I hope they'll like it. And that I don't suck at cooking it :)
After that I painted the letters and then went to Boots' dad's house and we played Red Sox monopoly. And now I am back home.
Jack said he is coming to visit this weekend until next weekend I think, so I hope hope hope I get to see him!!
