Off to the Dominican!!
That is where I'll be laying in about 18 hours from now! On the beautiful beach in Punta Cana! I can't wait!!
Our flight got changed from 6:10am to 7:30am which is kinda nice. Gives us a bit more sleeping time. I'm bringing the portable dvd player on the plane so we can watch a few episodes of Lost. I also got some magazines and am bringing my sister's MP3 player cuz I get antsy on planes. I'm so used to flying with Westjet that I'm accustomed to having live tv on the flight. It'll suck not having that! :P
I know my suitcase is waaay over the limit, so I'll be shoving a bunch of things in Dan's suitcase tonight. Luckily boys pack light! ;) No wonder my bag is so heavy.. I'm bringing 2 pairs of heels, 3 pairs of flip flops, a pair of platform sandles and some nice dressy sandles. Plus the shoes I'll be wearing to the airport. I couldn't decide which ones to bring, so I figured I'd just bring them all! Each pair of flip flops matches one of my bathing suits.. and I have to match right? I'd much rather bring way too much, than not enough and be wishing I had things from home. Which reminds me that I forgot to pack my blow dryer! Ah! And my alarm clock.. sheesh! Better do that before I forget.
I've been stressed all week with these stupid hurricanes. Wilma is on it's way to Florida now so we dont have to worry about her. I'm worried for all the people in Florida though! Especially my family there. Now tropical storm Alpha is moving along the Carribean. It's apparently just causing some rain over the north coast in the Dominican now, but is supposed to have moved on to the Bahamas by 8pm tonight so we wont have to worry about it. Now as long as mother nature can hold off on another hurricane for the next week I'll be happy :D
