Knit Knots, Nina, Movers - Moving away crystaldrake February 24 2010, 04:37:38 UTC
Nina cried as she watched as her uncle Knit Knots packed up his collection of boring beige items into boring brown boxes. She wished that her Uncle would change his mind about moving across town, to a new boring location. She had to convince him to stay - she would be sad if she didn’t have daily adventures with the movers anymore.

“Uncle Knit Knots, I thought moving was much too exciting,” Nina frowned trying to show empathy for how she knew her Uncle felt about things being too exciting.

“Yes, it is very exciting to move,” Knit Knots replied. “I don’t like it one bit either.”

“Then why are we moving?”

“Because it’s the less of two exciting things,” the man in complete beige explained. “Ever since the movers moved in, there has been non-stop noise coming from their warehouse. I had enough of it a long time ago. I attempted to reason with them about the excitement. But none of them understood my point of view on the issue.”

“Uncle -“cried Nina.

She stopped herself from continuing when she realized it was pointless. Her Uncle Knit Knots was stubborn. She ran out the room. She needed to properly say goodbye to her friends, the movers.

“Nina,” Knit Knots shouted, unsure of why she was acting the way she was.

Nina burst through the warehouse doors.

“What the matter, Nina?” asked Rich.

“My uncle Knit Knots decided to move his office to another location.” Nina whimpered.

“O- poohy, that sucks,” Scott huffed.

“There nothing I can do to change his mind,” Nina frowned. “I guess this is goodbye.”

“You know you’re always welcome here,” Smitty reassured her.

“I know.”

The movers and Nina all embraced in a hug. A goodbye hug. She hoped she would be able to visit them soon.
